<description>Heeey! I saw that! I was actually gonna tell Waves about it, but he was super tired today and didn't want him to shoot me &#62;.&#62; (:D &#60;3). I don't know - I think it's remarkable that an artist would be that willing to give out his music for free. It seems like he even promotes his fans taking his music and making it into something else.

I actually know nothing about NiN, I just saw a cool article on Current.com and one of my favorite bloggers recently "uncopyrighted" all his work, following the advice of Larry Lessig, some guy at Standard promoting "Free culture." Apparently TED.com has a lecture on it I've been itching to see, but I'm oh-so-busy with procrastination.

Point being: The idea of "Free Culture" is really intriguing, and it seems to me to be where all our creative endeavors are headed, thanks to the intarwebs. I mean, even the sports writing industry has been frustrated with the advent of blogging, claiming that it's basically a cesspool for ignorant schmoes to throw whatever debased opinion they want around. Haha, Buzz Bissinger I think it was flipped out about it, don't know which show it was, and the clips been removed. Anyway, as far as "Free Culture" goes, I'm a writer, and I definitely have some serious qualms about letting other people take credit for my work.

But hey, maybe I'm being selfish and just inhibiting humanity from achieving its true potential, yada yada [sillycommies]

Once again, procrastination yields inspiration in the form of mild delusion. :P
