Streak Music Release - buster breezy 2.0

Alright first music release for the blog. :3 yaaay

[description]

This one’s under the streak name and so carries the streak stylistic touches. It’s got the feel and style of a boss character, I set out to pretty much make it that way. It’s a gift for a friend, Vice, who I thought would really enjoy it.

[technicals]

Took me around 16 hours to do. I used Renoise 1.9.1 for the tracker, VST’s as follows: Synth1 (for the bassline, buzzy-synth, hoover), Plugsounds Pro (for the chime), Organized TRIO (for the organ), some vocal samples, and several drum loops/samples for the rhythm (including the amen break; ah how good that feels~), Stardust (mastering and eq), Renoise Delay, Reverb, 5-band EQ, Filter Hi/Lo (for equalization, mastering, and effects processing).

You can view it from my SA Page _here_ .

Enjoy.

  3. Very nice; you’ve progressed a lot. However, it could use more melodic variation. It was really awesome for the first couple minutes, but it just kept repeating with only minor changes that made it a little too repetitive. Still, very nice work on this. Me gusta.

  4. It is what it is, that’s all it was meant to be.

    Try checking out somma my stuff at http://sonicsight.sheezyart.com , it’s a much better representation of what I do. xD

  5. Yeah, figured as much. My personal taste is to not have things be too repetetive, though I know a lot of people think that it doesn’t really matter. It’s still well done, but not how I would’ve done it.
    Speaking of which, you got me screwing around with Renoise again. I can actually use it somewhat properly now :P

  6. Well it has to do with the style. This particular style of music was dark drum and bass. Dark DNB Doesn’t really ever have that many melodies going at once. It has one or two riffs, and expands on them throughout the song. I actually had *alot* more variety than most songs of this type. xD;

    Anyway, cool, Renoise is the way to go without a doubt. Trackers = pwn
